Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This policy explains how PrintCutCarve uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your experience.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Required for the website to function. These include:

  • • Session cookies to keep you logged in
  • • Shopping cart cookies to remember your items
  • • Security cookies to protect your account
  • • Two cookies that remember your privacy choices: advertising (up to 365 days) and analytics (up to 395 days)

Analytics Technologies

Help us understand how visitors use our site:

  • • Pages visited
  • • How you found our website
  • • Whether you are on a desktop, phone, or tablet
CookiePurposeDuration
pcc_analytics_consentRecords whether you agreed to analytics395 days
pcc_analytics_visitorA random identifier so repeat visits are not counted as new people. Stored only as a one-way hash395 days
pcc_analytics_sessionGroups pages viewed in one visit30 minutes

These three cookies are first-party: PrintCutCarve sets and reads them directly, and no third party ever receives the raw values. When you start a checkout, a one-way hash of the visitor and session identifiers is passed to our payment processor, Stripe, with the order details, so we can tell which pages led to a sale. Stripe cannot reverse the hash to work out who you are. It is a pseudonymous identifier, and because it stays the same while your cookie lasts, repeat purchases from the same browser carry the same value.

If you decline, none of this cookie-based browsing analytics is recorded. Completed purchases are still recorded as a business record, the same way your order confirmation email is, regardless of this choice; see Managing Cookies below.

Meta Marketing Technologies

With your permission, the Meta Pixel may set or read identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc. We use them to:

  • • Measure visits from Facebook and Instagram advertising
  • • Attribute membership checkouts and purchases to ads
  • • Build audiences for relevant advertising
  • • Help Meta optimize ad delivery

For consented membership purchases, our server may also send Meta a purchase event through the Conversions API. Browser and server events use the same event identifier so a purchase is not counted twice.

Managing Cookies

Use “Cookie Settings” in the site footer to open your privacy choice. It is a single Accept / Essential-only choice that governs both the third-party Meta advertising pixel and our first-party analytics cookies described above. There is no separate control for each. You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

  • • Block all cookies (may affect site functionality)
  • • Block third-party cookies only
  • • Delete cookies when you close your browser
  • • Allow cookies from specific sites only
